After outfitting him the year before for his role in The Great Escape, this blouson was created as a celebration of his sporting legacy, with diamond quilting to the shoulders, elbows and hemline. Feel the reassuringly heavy 12oz waxed cotton empower you with the same daring attitude; a rich, storied heritage is woven into the fabric that weighs down on your shoulders.
This jacket has a boxy silhouette in imitation of the original cut from 1964, so we recommend you order a size down to reflect a more modern fit.

When order came we were surprised with color. The ordered color was black, but we got it in the dark grey color. The customer service said that this is a 'black'.

Worth having

5' 10-11" 310lbs, XXL. Fits just like the size should. Read reviews and thought I should get one size smaller but turns out too small! Received my requested size in two days upon requesting a return (a day before I ACTUALLY returned it, go Amazon!)

I would suggest getting a jacket with free returns to test out the size and warmth (ignoring color choice) and then getting the actual color you want if the color you wanted does not have free returns.

So far tested out at 48 deg only and my boyfriend had his jacket unzipped up front as it was too warm and his back was sweating! (He had a tshirt and tank on besides the jacket) Cant wait to test it out when it's 0 deg and I will update my review then. I reduced a star due to it's length. It's kinda short. Anyone with the same height or taller as/than my boyfriend should get it in tall if they dont mind dark brown. When I was buying it, only dark brown is available for XXL Tall.
