These biking boots are ideal for long-travel tourism, but also lend themselves as much to urban wear and short trips. Produced in thick, water-repellent black buffalo leather, this boot takes its cue from the iconic Trialmaster design but with the CE certified protection standards for an authentic riding boot. Reinforcement at the toe and heel, protection to the ankles and a Vibram anti-slip sole are all crucial assets.

It was hard to buy this warm jacket when it is 98 degrees outside. The jacket is very thick and warm. It is well made and a generous size so I can wear a sweater under it if I have to. I work in a cold location by the windy winter door, so this jacket will be a comfort. The gray has a bit of a sweatshirt look,

I got black but the black is a sort of matte black (dark, dark graphite).

After reading some of the reviews, I decided to order the 2XL/Tall instead of my normal 3XL/Tall and it's a good fit.

I'm 6'5", 280 lbs, with broad shoulders and carry a bit of weight in the belt, but the 2XL/Tall fits well without being too tight.

The Steens jacket isn't the warmest or the best but I got it to throw on, look good, and knock the chill off 40F+ and it works well.

I always purchase Columbia Steens Mountain full zip fleece jackets. They are very comfortable and the variety of colors are nice.I love the feel of Columbis fleece compared to other brands. The colors are usually very close to what is shown except Tusk.
